Who We Are

Michael McCormick and Jennifer Reyez formed Western Slope Billing in June 2020, to provide area health care practitioners with an alternative to the established area health care billing service providers.  The partners believe billing can be completed accurately and timely to meet the needs of our clients.  Michael had owned and operated Grand Junction's Columbine Caregivers Home Health Agency for many years prior to forming Western Slope Billing LLC.

Jennifer Reyez has been in the healthcare field for over 15 years. Eight of those years have been spent in the Grand Valley. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC ) and holds her CPC and CPMA. She’s worked in multiple positions in both the hospital and physician practices.  Jenn also holds a Medical Compliance Officer certification from AAPC.  She’s experienced in billing, coding, auditing, and practice management. Her passion is helping physician practices increase their revenue by working closely with physicians and clinic staff to submit clean claims in a more time efficient manner. Creating realistic benchmarks for decreasing payor denials and increasing collection of revenue. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, boating and CrossFit.

Michael McCormick is a long time health care administrator and Western Colorado resident.  He is active in the Grand Junction community, serving on the Rotary Club of Grand Junction and the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation Board of Directors.
